At its heart lies the vision of a seasoned hotelier whose journey across some of the world’s most respected luxury hospitality brands—including Ananda in the Himalayas, Hyatt, and Marriott—shaped a nuanced understanding of service, comfort, and attention to detail. Having worked both nationally and internationally, this experience brought with it a desire to create something more personal, intimate, and rooted in warmth rather than scale.
Our Story
What began as a family space gradually evolved into something more purposeful. The transformation into a homestay was guided by a singular philosophy: to create a place where people can pause, reconnect, and celebrate life’s moments in a setting that feels both luxurious and comforting. Unlike conventional hospitality spaces, 3 Elements was never intended to be impersonal or transactional. Instead, it was envisioned as an extension of home—where every guest is welcomed with genuine warmth and thoughtful care.
The idea was simple yet powerful—to offer a space where hospitality goes beyond rooms and services, and instead becomes an experience that guests truly feel and remember. This vision found its perfect home in a beautiful villa, originally built by Brigadier Biman Behari Biswas, a man of discipline, grace, and foresight. Nestled in the serene countryside, yet conveniently close to the bustling city of Kolkata, the villa stood as a quiet retreat waiting to be transformed.
Cuisine became a defining pillar of this journey. Drawing from years of experience in global kitchens and fine dining environments, the focus has always been on offering food that is both refined and soulful. From local flavours that celebrate regional authenticity to European and Asian influences that reflect global exposure, every meal is crafted with intention. The addition of intimate dining and curated BBQ experiences further enhances the sense of togetherness that defines the brand.
